1 Can Chickpeas 1/4 Cup Yeast, Nutritional 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, Sea 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper, Cayenne 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Chillies, Red 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic, Powder 1/4 Teaspoon Powder Onion, Brown 1/8 Teaspoon Powder Chillies, Red 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika 1/4 Teaspoon Annatto 1 Pinch Lactic Acid 1/2 Teaspoon Cornstarch 1 Drop Olive, Oil
1. Drain and rinse chickpeas, save the aquafaba. Lay out towel on the counter and roll out the chickpeas to remove the skins and dry them. 2. In food processor add nutritional yeast, salt, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, and annatto. Mix then add lactic acid and cornstarch, mix again! 3. Put some olive oil on chickpeas then toss them around in the seasoning. Put them on air fryer rack and into the air fryer at 400ºf for 15 minutes. 4. Add aquafaba to spray bottle. As soon as chickpeas are done, spray with aquafaba then coat again in the seasoning. Then back into the air fryer for 1 minute.
